10th Anniversary of St Ursula’s Work Experience Programme in London

This autumn we proudly celebrate the tenth anniversary of our work experience programme in London. Founded in cooperation with the Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School in South Kensington, the programme has been widely praised, notably by British employers who have supported us. In the week from 3rd-12th October 2008 seventeen students from St. Ursula’s upper sixth form travelled to Britain’s capital again to work in kindergartens, schools and offices.
The importance attached to the programme by employers is shown in the following video clip. Besides glimpses into the students’ workdays, it features an interview with Mr. John C. Murray, CEO of the Society of Maritime Industries, who speaks about his experience of students from St. Ursula’s working at his company.
